SUBMITTING ARTWORK

We prefer to work directly from digital art. We can accept most picture formats including artwork generated in Adobe Photoshop. General Picture formats include: jpegs or .jpg suffixes, bitmaps or .bmp suffixes and gifs or .gif suffixes, etc. If you do not have your logo in digital form (on disk), you should scan a letterhead or business card and e-mail us the scanned image. SIZE PARAMETERS

Lettering must be at least ¼" high. A typical left chest design is 3-4" wide. Designs embroidered on hats can be no more than 2 ¼" high. Once we receive your logo, we will call you with any specific questions regarding your logo.

COLORS

Please indicate the colors (PMS colors preferred) used in the logo with your order. Specific colors can look slightly different on different computers.  Designs with more than 8 colors will incur an up-charge of $2.00 per color, per garment.

Screen Printing:
Screen printing is used primarily for group orders as the printing process is most cost effective for producing multiple T-shirts. It is called screen printing, because each color is laid down with a different screen of ink. Therefore, the less colors, the less steps and the less cost involved in printing the design. Screen printing is ideal for events including teams, work, family, etc.

Embroidery:
Embroidery gives your apparel a very professional "stitched" look. Images must be digitized (converted to a format for embroidery machines). Embroidery looks great on hats, denim, polo shirts, T-shirts, etc.

SET-UP CHARGES/TAPE CHARGES
New orders (when a logo must be converted into an embroidered design) will be charged a one-time fee of $85 below 5,000 stitches, $125 between 5,000 & 9,000 and $180 above 9,000 stitches. Once we receive your logo and authorization, we will send you a sewn sample of the logo in 5-10 business days. Once the logo is approved, your garments will be embroidered and sent to you in 7-14 business days or based on production schedules. Re-orders will take 5-8 business days. We are unable to guarantee stock of an item, but we will call you within one day to offer suggestions for a comparable garment.

EMBROIDERY CHARGES
An embroidery application charge of $4.00 - $10.00 will be applied for embroidering each garment on orders between 12-144 units for logos under 7,000 stitches.  Please inquire for further discounts.

SCREEN PRINTING PROCESS DEFINED:

After the art has been approved. We need to output the film that we use to make the screens. This is the only part of the art procedure that we charge for.  This is a one time charge so if there are re-orders we will have the films on file.

The art is then pre-registered & checked for detail and quality

Once the art is completely approved in-house we send the job to our screen dept. The first step in the art dept. is to coat the screens with a photosensitive emulsion

After the screen dries it is placed on the vacuum light table and exposed with a 3000 watt metal halide light.

SLIPPERY WHEN WET

After being exposed the screens are then washed out with a pressure washer at around 1300 psi. Once the image is washed out it is double checked with the films for accuracy
